Horrorama 2009 Halloween Movie Marathon

Dr. Creep will be hosting Horrorama 2009 Halloween movie marathon on Friday, October 23rd from 6pm to 3am at The Englewood Cinema. The featured films are Pumpkinhead, The Unseen, Tourist Trap and Nightmare. Costume and other contests. Tons of prizes! Cost is $11 in advance, $13 day of show.

Belly Boo Bash 2009, Halloween Bellydance Show

Dr. Creep will be hosting Belly Boo Bash 2009 on Saturday, September 26th from 8pm to midnight at the 3rd floor ballroom of Pianello’s Pizza in Franklin, OH, featuring live music and Halloween themed dance performances.

Tickets are $10. All proceeds go to benefit the The Fistula Foundation and A Walk to Beautiful.

WKEF Channel 22 Update on Dr. Creep

Last night WKEF, Channel 22 in Dayton did an update on Dr. Creep during their 10 O’Clock news report.

UNDATED – He was a staple on television here in the Miami Valley for more than a decade, and since then Dr. Creep has been a staple in the community.

But now, the man behind Dr. Creep is in need of some help himself. Barry Hobart has had numerous medical issues over the past few years, from strokes to heart problems, and can’t keep up with the mounting medical bills.

Now there are two ways you can help.

First there is a benefit fundraiser for Dr. Creep this Saturday, July 18th at Snyder Park in Springfield. It goes from noon to 9pm and features nearly a dozen bands, food, games and many people from the horror community. Admission is free, donations are welcome.

If you can’t get to the fundraiser, a Miami Valley native, who now runs a website in San Francisco, called laughingsquid.com has set up a paypal account that goes directly to Dr. Creep’s (Barry Hobart) bank account so he can keep up with his much needed medical treatments.

Chaos In The Park 2009, a benefit concert for Dr. Creep is being organized for July 18th from noon to 9pm at the Snyder Park Band Shell in Springfield, OH.
